The Kansas state legislature is the newest culprit of anti-choice attacks. An extreme “personhood” bill is headed to their outrageously anti-choice governor’s desk.
The Indiana state House just passed a bill that forces health clinics that provide the abortion pill (RU 486) to have full surgical facilities.
Why would somebody need a surgical facility to provide a pill?
Imagine having to travel the distance from D.C. to New York City, or Los Angeles to Las Vegas, just to access abortion care.
We wish this were an April Fool’s joke. But North Dakota’s extreme “heartbeat” abortion ban could create an area 800 miles wide between providers.
Yo, Arkansas, Imma let you finish, but North Dakota is gunna have the worst abortion restrictions of ALL TIME!*
*in the US since Roe v. Wade
Do they think women’s brains only work on business days?
NOT ON MY WATCH
We love it! Thanks, Jerfrey. We can’t do our work without people like you.
It’s tragic that Arkansas lawmakers can’t understand that outlawing abortion as early as 12 weeks is not only dangerous, but a complete assault on women’s freedom and privacy. Click here to learn more.
Double the awesome! Gov. Beebe of Arkansas stood with women AGAIN!
He vetoed an extreme, cruel bill that could ban abortion in that state as early as 12 weeks! Thanks, Gov. Beebe, for standing by women and families in your state!
This is just ridiculous.
E-hugs for everyone!
The fight’s not over yet, but for now, we’re all like:
When Michigan state Sen. Howard Walker was asked about the egregious anti-choice bill he helped to pass last week, he not only admitted that he has not read the bill, but exclaimed “This isn’t about women! This is about protecting fetuses!”
